Rezoning ignores U.A.’s Master Plan for land use

“The Master Plan serves as the official policy document for City Counsel, Board of Zoning and Planning, other boards, and the Administration when addressing when addressing growth and development issues.” (Executive Summary, 2.1)

“The residential character of the City is a leading contributor to its quality of life and the Master Plan recommends a number of strategies that will improve the City’s ability to protect its residential character while enhancing other quality of life issues.”  (Executive Summary, 2.1)

Tremont properties are not within Study Areas

“it is a priority to redevelop [Kingsdale, Henderson Road, Lane Avenue, Tremont Center, Northwest Blvd.] before single-family structures are impacted.” (Objectives and Strategies, Preserve residential neighborhoods, 3.4)
